Nintendo’s next Indie World showcase is set for April 17

Word on the street is that Nintendo won’t be releasing the long-awaited successor to the Switch . So the company needs to let fans know what they can play on the current console in the coming months. To help balance the schedule, Nintendo has a number of indie game releases. We’ll find out what some of these are at the next Indie World showcase on April 17th at 10am ET.

Nintendo said the stream will last about 20 minutes and will include updates on games coming to the Switch this year. There weren’t many signs of what to expect. However, it may eventually finally be news about Hollow Knight: Song of Silk front.

I know, I know, we mention this game every time one of these streams comes out (and with good reason since it’s one of the most anticipated games right now). However, there are some hints that we’ll be getting an update on Team Cherry’s sequel soon. A page for it finally appeared on the Microsoft Store this month, and it is . So if the Indie World stream doesn’t include a Silk song release date, maybe we’ll finally find out what’s in the Xbox showcase in June. Keep your fingers crossed.
