latest beta update for PlayStation 5 will make it easier to hear what’s happening in your game. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has a company announced A software update will allow the DualSense and DualSense Edge wireless controllers to produce louder sound, so you can hear in-game sounds and audio conversations more clearly.
The update not only gives the controllers the ability to produce louder sounds, but also strengthens their noise cancellation functionality. Thanks to a new AI machine learning model, Sony’s announcement says that the controllers now have better microphone input. This will allow the PS5 system to drown out background sounds such as game audio, allowing your voice to come through clearly, and overall improving the quality of voice chats.
The update also brings non-audio enhancements to the PS5, including the ability to adjust the console’s power indicator under “Beep & Light” in System Settings. Plus, it will give you access to Screen Sharing tools that you can use as a viewer to interact with the host’s game. Do you want to attract the attention of the host and focus on a certain element in the game? There is a pointer that you can move or use to draw lines on the screen and highlight objects in the game. You’ll also be able to send the host’s screen emoji reactions. These new interactive tools for Share Screen are enabled by default, but you can always turn them off in the settings. Note that they will only work if both you and the host already have access to the beta features. Currently, the upgrades are only rolling out to select users in certain countries, but SIE plans to roll them out to all PS5 players around the world in the coming months.
