The verdict on Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung’s 2024 flagship is here. The S24 Ultra it has a new titanium frame, improved telephoto cameras and is packed with new AI smarts and features. It’s also more expensive than ever.

The AI features that mark this year’s S23 series aren’t the hardware, though. AI tools range from text and translation to photography and search. Many of these AI skills are already available in other services like ChatGPT and Bard, but it’s built into the S24 series at the base level, so you can summarize, auto-format, spell-check or translate your tasks from Notes, on the go. (The transcription also seems pretty impressive, but that could just be me being an excited journalist.)
