Sennheiser’s Accentum True Wireless earbuds have an all-new design and ANC for $200


Sennheiser’s Accent line designed to offer advanced quality features at more affordable prices. So far, the company has debuted two sets of headphones with this moniker Accentum Wireless and Accentum Plus Wireless, but has now added true wireless headphones to the lineup. The Accentum True Wireless it is in a different form than the price Momentum 4 True Wirelessbut still, the hybrid has a few handy features, including active noise cancellation (ANC).

The ergonomic shape of the Accentum True Wireless was developed in collaboration with hearing aid manufacturer Sonova (Sennheiser’s parent company), the company explains. By analyzing “thousands of in-ear models”, the pair created headphones that offer “the ideal balance of stability, comfort and refinement”. The curves of the Accentum True Wireless should lead to a more comfortable fit for more ear shapes, and the four-dimensional ear tips will help you find the best seal for both acoustic and ANC performance.

According to Sennheiser, the 7mm drivers inside offer “powerful and engaging bass, natural mids and crisp treble.” The company says the beam-forming microphones for the ANC configuration can significantly reduce low-frequency distractions, even cabin noise. There’s also a transparency mode when you need to be aware of your surroundings. Sennheiser Smart Control software offers EQ customization and Volume Check, which creates a unique audio preset based on your preferences. The app also lets you reconfigure the headset’s touch controls as needed.

The Accentum True Wireless will last up to eight hours with another 20 hours of charging in the wireless charging case. When charging the kit with a USB-C cable, a 10-minute plug-in will give you an hour of use. These headphones also support Bluetooth 5.3, delivering LE Audio and Auracast broadcast audio from sharing sessions hosted in public or privately.

The Accentum True Wireless is now available for pre-order For $200 and will be released on May 21. The new model is currently available in black and white color variants, but according to the company’s website, a navy version is also on the way.
