Google has gone from being a major search engine to something people pay to avoid entirely. This week she chats with Cherlynn and Devindra 404 Media co-founder Jason Koebler about his practice is moving away from Google and toward Kagi, a $10/month search engine with no ads or data tracking. Funny enough, Kagi still relies on Google’s index, so it’s like using this site before the onslaught of ads, sponsored posts, and AI results. We also discuss the company’s lies about Chrome’s incognito mode, as well as news that it will delete user data collected in that mode. (Be sure See 404 Media podcast also!)
