According to Rabbit, the first orders from the US Will ship on March 31st. But be patient as it will take a few weeks for the devices to reach their destinations. The company estimates that the first R1 orders will be in the hands of customers “around April 24th.”
The Rabbit R1 generated equal amounts of hype and questions about the next generation of AI hardware and whether it could deliver substantial demos and press releases. I will say, however, that the R1, co-developed by Teenage Engineering, is quite a piece of technology.

University security researchers have found a chip-level exploit in Apple Silicon-powered Macs. The group says the flaw can bypass a computer’s encryption and access its security keys. However, hackers need to bypass Apple’s Gatekeeper protections and install malware and in addition to other complex conditions, allow the software to run for 10 hours. As long as you enable Apple’s Gatekeeper (the default), you won’t be able to install such malware anyway.
