As for the Pi Prime, it’s a fantastic gas-fired outdoor pizza oven. The original Pi made our list best pizza ovens and Prime have almost the same design. It’s made of stainless steel and has a round form factor that just screams to be filled with dough, cheese and sauce. The Pi Prime can reach a maximum cooking temperature of 950 degrees Fahrenheit and can fully cook a pizza in less than 90 seconds.
The oven ships with a reversible pizza stone made of cordierite, the gold standard of pizza stone materials. It also comes with a cover to protect the oven from the elements. The Pi Prime has an open-air design, so there is no door. This will not affect the temperature inside the oven, but it will make it difficult to monitor the temperature accurately. Of course, you’ll also need your own propane tank.
