Bang & Olufsen has launched its latest set of premium headphones. Beoplay is the successor to the Eleven headphones . The brand says the latest model was inspired by it as well as fine jewelry because it has a “shine like a stone.”
The earbuds retain the AirPods-style body design of their predecessors and are available in two colors, Natural Aluminum and Copper Tone. They feature B&O’s signature polished aluminum. The charging case is said to be durable and lightweight, while also supporting Qi wireless charging.
According to B&O, Beoplay Eleven features the most advanced active noise cancellation technology in any headphone to date. This model is said to provide double the level of low-frequency noise reduction compared to the Beoplay EX, while providing greater optimization for different ear sizes and shapes. The brand claims the headphones have a “natural” transparency mode and an improved array of six microphones significantly reduces noise.
B&O added extra holes and fine mesh pads to the body to reduce wind pressure and offer a more open sound. Using the accompanying app, you can activate wind protection to filter out wind noise and help you be more aware of your surroundings. The headphones also have an IP57 rating for water resistance.
The headphones are slated to last up to eight hours on a single charge with ANC turned off and up to six hours with the feature on. The charging case adds 14 or 20 hours of listening time per B&O mode, respectively. It claims that a 20-minute charge will add about 1.75 hours of listening time.
At the same time, the batteries can be replaced. Adapting Beoplay Eleven is a nice touch though It will enter into force in 2027.
