Polestar EV owners will soon have more charging options. The company said Tuesday that its lineup now has access to the Tesla Supercharger network in the United States and Canada. Future Polestar vehicles will receive NACS input as standard, and current owners can purchase an adapter at their local Polestar Service Center from today.
A Polestar spokesperson told Engadget that the adapter has an MSRP of $230, so it’s not a free upgrade. However, this accessory will add 17,800 charging stations in North America, so owners may find it a relatively small price to pay for the added convenience on their next trip.
