Microsoft has just released which finally brings mouse and keyboard support later . The tool is currently in beta and works with both Edge and Chrome web browsers. It seems quite simple to use. Just choose a game that supports mouse and keyboard and there you go.
You can also instantly switch between a mouse/keyboard combo to a standard controller by pressing the Xbox button on the controller or pressing a button on the keyboard. The company said it will introduce icons later in the month to notify users of games that support mouse and keyboard inputs.
There is support for 26 games so far. These include blockbusters ARK Survival Evolved, Halo Infinite And of course, Fortnite. small games like High in life and Penitentiary can also be controlled via mouse and keyboard. Check the link above for the full list.
Microsoft didn’t say how long it took. The feature was originally supposed to launch in June 2022, but we didn’t get it . Whatever the reason, KBM setups are practically a requirement for first-person shooters, and better late than never.
