Sony has introduced PlayStation Plus and quite sturdy. There’s no clear title here, but a trio of cool games are about to hit the platform. Foam stars, Rollerdrom and Steel lifting. Also, a two-hour trial Spiderman 2 February 6 discounts for PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members.
If we had to pick the biggest game of the bunch, this would be it Rollerdrome. Dystopian roller-skating sim With its slick 1970s aesthetic, comic book-style visuals, and timely message about corporate greed. It’s also a lot of fun to play, which is why it made our list It even made our list and it’s back when you actually have to pay for it directly.
We already knew Foam stars but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. It’s Square Enix’s attempt to capture some of the magic of Nintendo’s Splatoon franchise, and it’s actually a one-day release for the platform. Foam stars is also a 4×4 online party shooter Splatoon. Unlike the Nintendo game, you use foam as the main mechanic instead of paint.
We have not written about it steel lifting, but it’s a pretty cool riff on the Soulslike genre that trades a fantasy setting for a Steampunk vibe. It’s set in an alternate history version of Paris where robots put down the French Revolution. It doesn’t get much more steampunk than that, though I haven’t played long enough to see if Jules Verne shows up via time travel. Combat is fun.
Autumn Children Also getting an avatar pack as part of this sale, including outfits based on characters from the Ratchet & Clank franchise. All three titles mentioned above will be available to PS Plus members from February 6th to March 4th. To that end, some titles will be leaving the platform this month. You only have until February 5th to add Tale of the Plague: Requiem, Wicked West and No one saves the world to your digital library.
