In case you missed it, we’re officially getting it this summer. The company this week unveiled the upcoming 1,497-piece set alongside a 90-second mini-movie reimagining the movie in Lego brick form. The Jaws the set includes a boat (Orca), a shark and minifigures of heroes Martin Brody, Matt Hooper and Sam Kint, plus a number of essential items such as a harpoon from their hunt and several bright yellow barrels.
It will be available to the general public on August 6th for $150, but anyone signed up to the Lego Insider loyalty program will be able to purchase it before August 3rd. a base designed to serve as the ocean for the scene, so you can mount the shark in just the right position to make it look like it’s attacking the boat. Or you can display the shark and the boat as separate pieces, with a stand for the former. “You’ll need a bigger boat” will be printed on one of the tiles in the water set.
