Amazon’s Affordable Pharmacy program rxPass opens up to Medicare users with Prime

“For some of the Medicare population, the mobility feature can be very attractive. If you don’t have easy access to a car or a retail pharmacy, the ability to deliver medications is attractive,” Love said.

Amazon competes with other pharmacies, including rival retailers such as CVS, Walgreens and Costco. Amazon also offers discounts of up to 80 percent on generics and 40 percent on brand names.
