These headphones easily made our list , and it’s not just because the word “asset” is in the name. We appreciated the comfortable fit and the IP57 water and dust protection, which includes sweat protection. They will work well with your daily exercise routine.
Of course, headphones live and die by their sound quality, and the Elite 4 are no slouch in that department. It has a fantastic sound profile out of the box, but you can tweak the EQ through the company’s proprietary software. This application also allows you to save the default settings of the profile. Sometimes a little more bass is needed when running to account for all the outside noise.
Speaking of external noise, these headphones have decent ANC. Battery life is solid thanks to the included charging case, and the multi-point connection is useful when switching audio sources. The case also includes a wireless charging option, which is always a nice bonus.
They’re not perfect, but what is? The company’s HearThrough transparency mode doesn’t sound as natural as technology found in competing products. . The Elite 4 Active headphones also lack the ability to play surround sound with Dolby Audio.
