Reddit is back after a major outage took the entire site offline. All told, the outage lasted less than an hour before company techs fixed the backend issue, according to the official status page. This outage affected every page of the internet’s favorite collection of various community forums. Reddit’s fix works fine because everything is uploaded by me.
Site experienced another outage last year, which was fixed in less than an hour. Those Reddit engineers are doing a good job.
Update, April 25, 2024, 1:39 PM ET: This story has been updated to include the fact that Reddit engineers have fixed the problem and the site is back.
