It was the first manned launch of the Boeing Starliner rubbed less than four minutes into takeoff after the computer failed to initiate the correct countdown. It’s the squillionth failure for a craft that (our math might be a little different) is supposed to support next-generation spaceflight. NASA said it will target June 5 for the next launch attempt. At this point, we’ll believe it when we see it.

ASUS knows how to build a good PC, so it’s no surprise to see its second-generation gaming hardware is an improvement over the original. Sam Rutherford tests the ROG Ally Xi, for which only the display and chip are unchanged from the original. Even if you can guess what its impression is from the title, you should still click on it see if it’s worth buying.
But how to get their attention?
It’s no surprise that 20-year-old Facebook isn’t what young people flock to. But bless Meta for trying to change that. In an update, Tom Alison, who leads the Facebook app for Meta, said the service is changing to reflect “a growing focus on young adults.” Meta managers are trying to attract young people years. Mark Zuckerberg said about three years ago that he wanted to make them the “North Star” of the company.
Alison’s note makes no mention of the metaverse besides using AI in their products (without being remotely specific) – I’m not sure how Facebook plans to appeal to these young adults.
Superior suction at a high price.
Dyson continues to experiment in the robot vacuum arena. The Dyson 360 Vis Nav has been available in other parts of the world for a while, but it recently went on sale for $1,200. The company claims a 360-degree vision system with cameras and LED lights, along with suction power similar to a stick vacuum. Is it good in real life? Yes. Is it perfect? Nope.
