Disney is laying off around 175 Pixar workers as it pulls back on original streaming shows

It loses about 175 employees between a drive to cut costs. Back in January, it was reported that layoffs were planned for the digital animation pioneer, with the studio reducing its workforce by nearly 14 percent.

Once an extremely reliable hit factory, Pixar has had a rough patch over the past few years.
