We felt that the AirPods Max have excellent balanced sound and active noise cancellation (ANC). With both surround sound and ANC enabled, we had no problem getting 20 hours of use from the headphones on a single charge, as Apple promises.
Considering it’s been a few years since the AirPods Max debuted, and Apple is on the verge of swapping out the Lightning charging port for USB-C on all of its devices, a new version of the headphones could be on the way. . This could result in Apple lowering the price of the original model further to clear stock. If you don’t want to wait, this is a solid deal for a good set of headphones, especially if you’re entrenched in the Apple ecosystem.
