Indie Lovecraftian fishing game Dredge is gonna be a movie


In a year full of rad fishing sims, Drainage was arguably the best. It came out in March 2023 and filled an old, eldritch-horror-shaped void in the year’s gaming catalog — and now there’s going to be a movie. Developer Black Salt Games and media company Story Kitchen they partner to transform Drainage turned into a live-action feature film. The opening line of the project is: “Think The Sixth Sense on the water.
