Does your car need a rear windshield?

You know people who say they would donate a major organ to own a fancy car? Ask them if they feel the same way . Polestar’s newest ride made its North American debut at the NY Auto Show, and notably, it doesn’t have a rear window. This is because rear passengers get better headroom and a more comfortable ride than other cars. Meanwhile, drivers get a high-resolution rearview mirror display connected to a live feed from the rear-mounted camera. Given how often people’s heads or trunks obscure the rearview, it’s a trade I’m willing to accept.
