Neil Young then returns to Spotify boycott platform two years ago, he said in a new blog post. Canadian singer Joe Rogan has left the platform due to vaccine misinformation on his podcast. Since Rogan’s podcast is no longer exclusive to Spotify, he’s back. “My decision came as Apple and Amazon music services began to introduce the same disinformation podcast features that I oppose on Spotify,” he said — which isn’t exactly the position he had in mind.

Open-source Twitter alternative Bluesky is about to test one of its more ambitious ideas: letting its users run their own moderation service. The change will bring Bluesky users and developers together to work on custom tagging tools for the fledgling social media platform.
Bluesky has seen a surge in growth since removing its waiting list and opening up to all users in February. The service added nearly 2 million new users, bringing its total community to just over 5 million. Additional moderation may be required.
