All the best deals in Best Buy’s Presidents’ Day sale


While Black Friday may not get the respect it deserves, Presidents’ Day is actually a great time for deals. Many stores hold special sales to help celebrate George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, as intended by former presidents. Best Buy is known for particularly strong Presidents Day sales, and this year is no exception.

The A14 Bionic chip has enough power to handle things like exporting 4K video clips and editing RAW photos in Lightroom. Battery life is solid, with USB-C charging, and the landscape-oriented front-facing camera is a great addition. The screen doesn’t have an anti-reflective coating like the iPad Air, and it doesn’t support the P3 wide color gamut. Otherwise, it’s worth buying, especially at this price point.

Portable gaming has come a long way in the past few years thanks to the runaway success of consoles like the Steam Deck and of course the ASUS ROG Ally. This surprisingly powerful handheld normally costs $700, but Best Buy $100 off outstanding player Abraham Lincoln (he absolutely crushed Hell.)

This portable console easily made our list best handheld gaming systems, and with good reason. It has a user-friendly interface and enough horsepower to play modern PC games. It also has the ability to mimic classical names for those skilled in the mystical arts. Compared to certain rival consoles, the ROG Ally is a bit bigger, but this sale gives you a lot of value for your portable gaming money.

Want to ditch the dumb bulbs for the wonderful world of smart lighting? Best Buy sells a Philips Hue two-pack starter kit for $90, Instead of $130. As the name suggests, this package includes two bulbs and the company’s Bridge device. This Zigbee-enabled controller lets you control up to 50 lights and accessories simultaneously via a proprietary app. You can set up and make adjustments to custom automation from anywhere with a stable Wi-Fi connection.

The Philips Hue line tops our list the best smart bulbs. We like that these lamps offer a wide range of color options that allow users to easily experiment with ambient lighting. We also enjoyed the mobile app and easy integration with other smart home devices.

If your wrist has been feeling a little bare lately, hit up a smartwatch. The Dear Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Here’s a great selection and Best Buy’s It sells for $240 Instead of $300. It’s the company’s latest and greatest release, and we called it a “practical, health-focused smartwatch” in our official review.

The Galaxy Watch 6 also made our list best smartwatches, and this is especially true for those entering the Android ecosystem. Battery life is spot on, with about 30 hours of use even with the always-on screen on. The watch also makes it easy to enter a host of health metrics, from heart rate data to menstrual cycle data and beyond. The enemy detection feature can be buggy, which can be a problem for some.

Logitech

If you want to dive into the wild and crazy world of live streaming, you may want to upgrade your webcam. Logitech’s C922 is a decent option with several high-end features at a price that won’t put your bank account in the red. This package usually costs $100, but Best Buy dropped the price by $20.

The package includes a Logitech C922 webcam and an adjustable tripod mount. The camera records in 1080p at 60 frames. It also has autofocus, a nice 78-degree field of view, and an integrated microphone.
