Apple’s Vision Pro is almost here and Samsung’s AI gambit

Welcome to your Saturday morning tech injection. This week’s TMA focuses on two big tech launches. First of all, Samsung started with its flagship smartphone series at the beginning of 2024 and announced three S24 models that will go on sale at the end of the month. And isn’t that what getting a new phone is all about?

Now that the Vision Pro ($3,500) is up for pre-order before it goes on sale later this month, we have a deeper look at Apple’s first foray into VR/AR/XR. You have big pockets, don’t you? It’s the company’s first new product since 2014’s Apple Watch, and our latest impressions suggest that the Vision Pro is a fluid, smart headset experience beyond any VR headset we’ve seen so far. For some, Vision Pro has two Engadget editors more extensive demosincluding immersive video and tried typing in thin air on the Vision Pro’s floating keyboard.
