Sony continues to churn out its back catalog of games for film adaptations, persistently forgetting this. Bloody does right there. The next game bound for the big screen Until the morning, A 2015 interactive horror film developed by Supermassive Games and published by Sony.
David F. Sandberg (Lights Out and Shazam! movies) will manage the adaptation accordingly The Hollywood Reporter. Gary Dauberman, who previously worked on Annabelle: Genesis Along with Sandberg, Blair puts a new spin on a script written by Butler (Invitation).
Until the morning It focuses on a group of eight young people trying to survive the night on a dangerous mountain. The horror game has a branching story, and depending on the decisions you make (or if you fail quick events), some characters won’t make it until the group is rescued the next morning.
Given that any or all of the characters can perish overnight, the game has hundreds of possible endings, so it will be interesting to see where Sandberg and Dauberman go with the material. Several well-known actors were featured until the morning Including Hayden Panettiere, Jordan Fisher and Oscar winner Rami Malek.
Sony has already adapted several of its games into film and TV properties Uncharted (another movie pastiche that itself became a movie), Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal and Our last emerging in the last few years. Sony also has adaptations Nightmare of Tsushima, Horizon: Zero Dawn, God of War and others in the pipeline.
