according to InformationApple created it two clamshell-type foldable iPhone prototypes, although they are all in the early stages of development. If Apple were to move forward with foldable iPhone models, they likely wouldn’t hit the market until at least 2026.
So far, companies have not been able to solve the technical problems of foldables. The first Samsung Galaxy Fold had a gap between the two halves of the screen, and debris fell into that gap. Second, Apple’s designers struggled to create a foldable iPhone that was attractive enough to exist outside of the iPhone’s current form factor. Adding to these challenges, engineers wanted to make each side half as thin as a regular iPhone so that when folded it would be roughly the same thickness. But given battery sizes and screen limitations, the technology isn’t there yet.
It seems that Apple’s first foldable device could be the iPad, which it has been working on since 2020. The company is trying to prevent wrinkling in the center of foldable displays after repeated folding. Apple also tries to make sure that the screen is completely flat when opened, and there are no bumps in the middle.

The company says this is the “highest video quality” it can offer.
Google is introducing a new setting called 1080p Enhanced for YouTube TV and Primetime Channels subscribers. The 1080p Enhanced setting enhances the existing 1080p60 resolution with an improved bitrate. Even though it’s the same resolution, a better bitrate will produce better images.
Google confirmed the update after a Reddit user posted about it on the platform. In response, the 1080p Enhanced setting “delivers our highest video quality.” Reddit users who already have access to 1080p Enhanced report that the resolution is available for all the same channels as 1080p60, such as Paramount and Syfy.
A no-nonsense flagship at a great price.
The OnePlus 12 has the same fast performance and better battery life than the Galaxy S24+, solid cameras, and a great display for under $200. It’s short on AI gimmicks, but that doesn’t detract much from its great battery life, high-quality cameras, and $800 price tag. Check out our full review.

OpenAI now includes provenance metadata in images generated on the web with the ChatGPT and DALL-E 3 APIs. The metadata complies with the C2PA (Coalition for Content Origin and Authenticity) open standard, so you can trace the source of an image when it is uploaded to the Content Credentials Verification tool. Unfortunately, the whole thing is easily bypassed: It only works if the metadata is intact. It doesn’t work if you upload an AI-generated image without metadata, like any screenshot or image from social media.
