The Fire TV Stick 4K Maxthe company’s most powerful streaming dongle has dropped to a new low of $33. That’s 45 percent off the original $60 price tag. This compact streamer supports 4K content and comes with improved Alexa Voice Remote and Wi-Fi 6E support. You can of course use it to log in Amazon Prime VideoWith Netflix, Disney+ and all your favorite services.
While the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a good choice for streaming, we also use it for something a little different: playing retro games. Our senior reporter Jeff Dunn bought one to play games from PS1, Game Boy, Genesis, old arcade games and more. He finds it works better than carrying any larger devices. Amazon’s Fire TV Cube Fire TV devices are discounted as part of a larger sale for Black Friday. Right now, you can snag the streaming device for 29 percent off, down from $140 to $100. If you want hands-free use with Ethernet and Alexa, the Cube is your choice. It’s more powerful than the 4K Max, but for the price difference, it’s a tough call if it’s worth it.
