WhatsApp helping users keep track of an endless stream of conversations. This is basically an elegant version released earlier this year.
The aptly named Lists tool allows people to filter conversations through multiple custom categories. Users can create a list for family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, or anyone. The platform says these tools “help you focus on the conversations that matter most when you need them.”
Like the Favorites feature, users can add both group chats and one-on-one chats to any list. To get started, look for the “+” sign in the filter panel at the top of the Conversations tab. WhatsApp is rolling out this update today, but it’s a tiered rollout, so it could take a few weeks to reach everyone.
