Cyberpunk 2077 does . The first-person open-world adventure was first released in 2020, so Apple fans have been waiting nearly half a decade for this release. Developer CD Projekt RED has yet to announce a release date, but says the game will be available “early next year.”
This is not the main game. Mac owners get Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Editioncontains all pre-existing DLC and patches. This includes mass Phantom Liberty expansion, . Expansion for consoles and PC.
The developer says this port takes “full advantage of Apple’s advanced Silicon and Metal technologies.” It boasts all sorts of modern bells and whistles, such as road tracking, framing and interior audio.
As mentioned, this port is only for the Apple Silicon Mac, but CD Projekt RED hasn’t revealed if there are any obstacles beyond that. We reached out to the developer to ask if the game will work on all chips from the M1 . We’ll update this post when we hear anything.
There is also a great policy for pre-existing players. If you own the game on PC via Steam, the purchase will carry over to Mac.
