With so much Kindle hardware, Amazon may have something for anyone looking to upgrade from the basic Kindle. The biggest discovery may be the Kindle Colorsoft, the first e-reader with a color display. Amazon has tried to ensure that the reader has a good color and black and white experience with high contrast, high resolution and high clarity, whether you are looking at a color image or a black and white page. Amazon uses nitride LEDs that work with the company’s algorithm to enhance color and brightness without washing out images.
Based on the press images (and the demos we went to), these seem to be made for graphic novels and comics. If you’re looking for something to digitally host your comics and manga, the Kindle Colorsoft will cost you $280 and will start shipping on October 30th.

You can finally draw on your books.
With the original Scribe, Amazon got a lot of basics right. It made the writing experience lag and smooth, but writing notes to your e-books was a bit difficult. Now when you type on a page, Scribe will create a box for your notes. This box is inserted into the text, the words of the book are rearranged and flow to accommodate it. However, this is still not a simple “draw on the page” solution. The Kindle Scribe will be available in December starting at $400.
The Analogue 3D costs $250 and will ship early next year.
Analog says he’s accomplished his most complex project yet: rebuilding the Nintendo 64 from the ground up. Again, the Analogue 3D has an FPGA (field programmable gate array) chip coded to emulate the original console at the hardware level. We’ve been promised support for every official N64 cartridge ever released in all regions, but with some major improvements. Supports analog 3D 4K output, variable refresh rate displays, and PAL and NTSC carts. The company also makes Original Display Modes to emulate your old CRT TV.
It was developed for NASA’s Artemis III mission.
Prada and Axiom Space have teamed up to design a new spacesuit, and NASA is now ready to reveal the look. This is the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit, white with red and gray accents for a bit of color and excitement. The suit is almost ready, undergoing testing and simulations at Axiom Space, SpaceX and NASA facilities. It should undergo a final review in 2025.
