LG’s C3 OLED TVs are more than $600 off before Black Friday


Update 10/17/24 11:05 AM ET: Amazon raised the price of the 55-inch model by $100, bringing the final price down to $1,297. While not as low as it was a few hours ago, it’s still about $500 off the original price and a good deal.


I don’t know about you, but I’ll be spending most of the upcoming cold months sitting on my couch watching TV (with a few books thrown in). The only thing I lack is a really good tv and I will choose more budget friendly optionI was tempted by a sale on LG’s C3 Series OLED TV. Currently, 55 inch model 34 percent discount from $1,800 to $1,197. The all-time low price isn’t the only version on sale 42 inch option Dropped from $1197 to $997.

LG released C3 series as a mid-range OLED option last year. It offers a9 AI Processor Gen6, HDR tone mapping, artificial intelligence upscaling and object-based image sharpening. The TVs are also equipped with a Brightness Booster that makes viewing even in a relatively sunny room easier, though not at the level of some of its competitors.

If you want the newest model, check it out LG’s C4 OLED series. The 2024 edition is also on sale, with the 55-inch version down from $2,000 to $1,297 — the same 35 percent discount we saw recently on Prime Day. The C4 TVs offering approximately 1000 nits of brightness and a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. This model will also connect wirelessly to LG soundbars, eliminating the need for messy cables.
