HP’s Omnibook Ultra Flip 14-inch is its first 2-in-1 AI PC


On Tuesday, HP introduced the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-inch, the first 2-in-1 computer with artificial intelligence. The device has a 3K OLED display, a haptic touch panel and Intel’s 200V Core Ultra series processors with a special AI engine. Starting at the end of November, it will be available on PC Microsoft’s Copilot+ capabilities as an update.

The OmniBook Ultra Flip features a 14-inch 2880 x 1800 touch-sensitive OLED display with a maximum variable refresh rate of 120Hz. With a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, the computer is only 0.59 inches (15 mm) thick and weighs 2.97 pounds (1.35 kg).

The 14-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip starts at 512GB of storage, with 1TB and 2TB options also available. 16GB of RAM is standard, but more expensive levels will bump it up to 32GB. The 2-in-1 is rated for up to 20 hours of battery life and can fast-charge up to around 50 percent in 45 minutes using the included 65W USB-C adapter. Its Intel AI processor can be configured with anything from the Ultra 5 226V to the Ultra 9 288V.

The device includes a 9MP camera with hardware-level low-light adjustment and Auto Switch HDR, which determines when HDR is required (depending on lighting conditions) and activates quickly. Built-in AI features using the Intel chip’s NPU include hand gesture support for scrolling through documents or web pages, adjusting volume, and controlling media playback. The computer can automatically lock when you leave and wake up when you return.

Once Copilot+ update for Intel computers If available, features such as AI rendering and editing tools, live titles, Windows Studio effects, and Recall will be added.
