Blocked users will be able to see your posts

“@” days[insert username] blocked you” page appears to be over. X owner Elon Musk announced a new change allows blocked users to see posts from accounts that blocked them.

Blocked accounts still won’t be able to interact with those accounts, but they’ll be able to see their posts. A source from X said about it the new blocked login feature is implemented as users can now switch to an unblocked account to see and contact accounts that have blocked them.

Musk has wanted to disable the blocking feature on X for some time. He expressed it for the first time more than a year ago (or technically, Twitter) except for direct messages. He wrote that blocking would be removed as a “feature” and that “it makes no sense.”

Last May has announced that it will implement a blocked tracker change on the platform without including a firm implementation or release date. The post says the change will be made to allow users with blocked accounts to “identify and report potentially bad content that you may not have been able to view before.”
