Valve has great savings entry-level (LCD) Steam Deck. You can save 25 percent off the 512GB model or 15 percent off the 64GB model, bringing the prices down to $336.75 and $296.65, respectively. The sale will continue until September 26, when supplies will run out for the two-stage launch model.
512 GB (NVMe SSD) LCD Steam Deck it originally cost $449, so the sale cuts more than $112 off the MSRP. For some perspective, OLED version it costs $549 with the same storage. This deal on the (low-end, but still high-quality) LCD variant is a great chance to get started on handheld gaming on the cheap.

The LCD Steam deck has a seven-inch screen (1200 x 800) with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness. The 512GB model adds an anti-glare treated glass that the 64GB lacks, so — if both fit your budget — the former is a no-brainer upgrade for just $40 more.
Both variants have 40Wh batteries with a theoretical eight-hour runtime, but our tests found them to average 4.5 hours with regular use. (If necessary, you can squeeze in more by reducing brightness and refresh rates.) Each model includes a standard carrying case.
In Engadget’s review of the LCD Steam Deck in 2023Jessica Conditt concluded that the entry-level model offers a “fantastic return on investment” even compared to its premium OLED sibling. Most major games launched today are classified as both Verified or Playable on Steam Deckand most gamepad-friendly games will do fine manually.
Conclusion: While the OLED model is worth the upgrade if it fits your budget, This is an LCD model – especially when it’s cut down to 25 percent – it’s still a fantastic entry-level gaming device that offers only a slightly compromised experience compared to the (more expensive) high-end.
