YouTube has added a new AI assistant feature that allows hacked users to restore their accounts and protect them from future attacks. The announcement about the new help feature came out earlier today Google’s support page for YouTube.
A new ‘hacked channel helper’ available on YouTube will allow ‘eligible creators’ to fix issues with their accounts when they are hacked. You can access the feature YouTube Help Center.
The assistant will ask affected users a series of questions to secure their Google login, undo whatever the hacker did to their channel, and protect their channel from further hacker access. For now, the feature is only available in English and to a select group of “certain creators,” but Google says it’s working to make the features available to all YouTube creators.
