The Fyra 12 easily made our list best pizza ovensand for good reason. This outdoor oven has a tried and true compact design, so it won’t take up much space when not in use. And it’s only £22. It uses wood pellets instead of cloth, which makes firefighting much easier.

Filling the device with pellets is also easy, as there is a convenient hook on top. This oven excels at cooking at temperatures as high as 950 degrees Fahrenheit. At such a high temperature, the pizza is cooked in about a minute. The only real downside? The oven maxes out on 12-inch pies, as the name suggests. A budding pizzaioli will need to bake a lot of pies to feed a hungry family, though the quick cooking time helps with that.
The Karu 16 actually topped our list of best pizza ovens and we named it the best multi-fuel unit. It’s the company’s largest multi-fuel model, meaning people can choose between wood, charcoal or gas to cook their pies. However, propane and natural gas burners are sold separately.
There’s a hinged glass door to watch the cake while it’s baking, along with a digital thermometer to monitor the temperature inside. The larger size is also a boon, as this oven will accommodate 16-inch pizzas. That’s about the size of a very large pie from a legit pizza joint.
