If you are looking to buy a set Apple AirPods Pro, today might be a good day to fight. The latest version of wireless noise canceling headphones has arrived last September and includes a USB-C charging case, down to $190 on Amazon and Best Buy. We’ve seen this discount several times over the past few months, but it still comes within a dollar of the lowest price we’ve tracked. For reference, Apple sells this pair for $249, though third-party retailers regularly sell for less. Note that this offer may only be available for Thursdays as Best Buy is offering it for 24 hours”Deal of the Day“and Amazon is likely to match the price.

That’s just a dollar more than the lowest price we’ve seen for the latest iteration of Apple’s wireless noise-cancelling headphones.
We gave the second generation AirPods Pro 88 points In September 2022. That review applied to the model with the Lightning charging case; this USB-C model is almost identical, only technically it has slightly better dust resistance supports with lossless audio Apple’s Vision Pro headset. Otherwise, it continues to offer a pleasantly warm sound with effective active noise cancellation (ANC), excellent ambient sound mode and slightly boosted bass. Its biggest advantage is still how well it works with other Apple devices. With these, you get a simpler pairing process, faster device switching, adaptive EQ, silent access to Siri, automatic ear detection, Find me tracking and spatial audio support. The couple’s settings menu and battery life indicator are also baked into iOS.
All this makes AirPods Pro the “best for iOS” choice a guide to buying wireless headphones, but you’ll need an iPhone to get the most out of them. However, their six-hour battery life is average, their call quality could be better, and the touch controls can take some getting used to. The Beats Fit Pro offering a largely similar feature set in a more workout-friendly design Sony’s WF-1000XM5 Overall, they remain our favorite wireless headphones. It should also be noted that Apple may release new AirPods later this year BloombergMark Gurmanthose who simply need a USB-C box can buy this separately. Still, if you’re a dedicated Apple user in need of new headphones today, this is a good deal.
