Audio chat rooms called X-in Spaces can now stream live video, but only to those hosting the session. whom The Verge Dogecoin designer reports placed the official launch of the feature on the platform formerly known as Twitter. The platform already has a separate feature that allows users to broadcast live video, but this option is not as interactive as Space. In a space session, participants can still talk or co-host, although only the host has the ability to broadcast live video.
Basically follow posts by some users, X needs to fix several bugs and other issues for the feature to run smoothly. Enabling video seems to create a fairly long delay in chat sessions, and streaming in landscape makes it impossible to control the space as video takes up the screen. Also, desktop participants do not have access to the videos yet. Mobile users viewing the videos are shown an interface that prominently displays the presenter’s visual feed next to the participants’ user icons. The Verge says that videos live only in chat sessions as they happen in real-time, and users will have to log in to see them. marked spaces currently it’s audio only.
