Amazon’s Fire tablets already start at pretty affordable prices, but Black Friday is when you can actually get them at rock-bottom prices. The company’s most powerful tablet Fire Max 11It’s now down to a record $140 thanks to Amazon’s Black Friday deals. That’s a 39 percent discount.
This is a pretty new entry in Amazon’s tablet library, he was released last year. The Fire Max 11 has a large 11-inch LCD display, a thin aluminum frame, and a host of smart home controls. Of course, it integrates with Alexa for voice control. It is the cooler and sleeker sibling of the Fire 10 and Fire 8 tablets.

The tablet uses an octa-core MediaTek processor and weighs just over a pound. It has a fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6 and 4 GB RAM support. It runs on the Fire OS 8 operating system, which enables split-screen and picture-in-picture features. This allows users to shoot some emails while watching a YouTube video, for example.
The tablet comes with a keyboard and stylus, but these come at extra cost. There are some minor downsides. First of all, this is an ad-supported model that will throw ads on the lock screen. In my experience, these are surprisingly inconspicuous. I hate ads and barely notice them. This sale is also for the 64GB version. That’s not a lot of space, but the tablet comes with a microSD reader for up to 1TB of additional storage.
