You’ll still have to deal with the usual compromises of a cheaper gaming laptop: It can get hot under load, it’s bulky, the keyboard isn’t great, and the screen is a bit dim. But it’s powerful enough to handle newer games at 1080p, the chassis is generally solid, and the battery can reach double-digit hours when you’re not gaming. That discount is $20 higher than the configuration’s lowest price, but otherwise closes the best price we’ve seen.

It includes an Intel Core i9-14900X chip, 16 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, which is enough to handle many games at high settings without much difficulty. The overall build doesn’t look cheap, and the 2560 x 1600 240Hz display is both sharp and snappy. RAM and storage are user upgradeable, though battery life and a 720p webcam aren’t ideal. This deal matches its all-time low price.
