Less specific (currently) are the PlayStation Black Friday deals on hardware and games. There will be sales on PS5 hardware, including the Fortnite Cobalt Star Bundle, directly from PlayStation and through Sony’s retail partners. PS VR2 headsetDualSense wireless controllers, Pulse headphones or earphones, and PS5 console covers will also be discounted. What we don’t know yet is how much savings Sony will offer on either.
Sony did not mention the PlayStation Portal, which will be more interesting. This week, the company said the handset is coming soon beta test for cloud streaming. It’s enabled that the portable device can do nothing but stream your local PS5 games a bit confusingat least.
“Select” games for PS5, PS4 and PC will also see price cuts. It mentions digital titles like Sony Star Wars Outlaws, Madden ’25 and The legacy of Hogwartsso we know to keep an eye out for at least a few games on sale. But similar to hardware deals, we don’t know how juicy the deals will be (or if other titles will be available). You can check back on Friday morning to learn more.
