Minecraft is getting its own theme parks

Merlin Entertainments is the world’s second largest theme park developer after Disney. The company operates LEGOLAND theme parks as well as theme parks such as Alton Towers Resort, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures in the UK, Gardaland Resort in Italy and Heide Park in Germany.

This isn’t the only time Minecraft has jumped from its pixelated, buildable universe into the real world. Warner Bros. released a trailer for the film in September starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa, with Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) directing.
