However, if you use the company’s native transfer software, you can actually download DRM-free ePub files to the slate.
ReMarkables all support formatting, and you can even edit and highlight text in them that will transfer to cloud-based saves. If you’re elbows deep in a textbook and need to take some notes quickly, using one of these things makes a lot of sense. Plus, if I were on a long-haul flight, I’d opt for the extra screen real estate over my sometimes-unusual Kindle.
Plus, if you’re getting it for its potential as an e-reader, you can use it as a whiteboard without detracting from its true purpose.
