DJI Osmo Mobile 6 gimbal as part of an early Black Friday deal. That brings the price down by 36 percent and is a record low for a camera stabilization device.
For the uninitiated, this product maintains a stable lock on smartphones to ensure smooth camera and video footage. Osmo Mobile 6 in almost every way. It features a newly designed handle that is more comfortable to hold and a larger clamp to accommodate all these modern giant phones. The clamp can also be wrapped around smaller phones in larger cases.

This model boasts a built-in extension stick, so it doubles as a selfie stick. It also introduces the company’s ActiveTrack software. This allows for increased stability over longer distances and will virtually track subjects as they spin, rotate or move. Another new feature is Quick Launch for iPhone models. This automatically forces the phone into camera view when the gimbal is turned on.
There’s a built-in status bar to check battery levels, timelapse functionality, gesture controls and more. This is a nice little gadget. On the downside, that’s a lot of money for a smartphone clamp, even at $89. This is for people who prefer high-end visuals.
