Apple AirTags also offer access to the ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless protocol. This creates a sort of game of finding lost items as long as the object is within 25 feet of the phone. The screen will show direction arrows and a distance counter so you can reset the lost item without calling the AirTag.
There are some caveats. These trackers only really work with iPhones, so Android users should buy something else. Also, the call only lasts for seven seconds at a time, which isn’t always enough to watch anything. Finally, there are no additional points to attach to a keychain or linked item. However, there are enough to solve this problem.
