Nintendo began production of its own music streaming service Serves fans of games including Mario Animal Crossing. Fans will be able to listen to their favorite game music on their phones through the new Nintendo Music app, which has a user interface very similar to Spotify. Tracks are organized by game, so people can play the entire OST for certain titles if they want, but they can also listen to character playlists, such as a selection of songs they play. Animal Crossing’s KK Slider.
If they’re in the mood for certain songs, they can hit one of the pre-made themed playlists that combine tracks for themes like “boss fight” and “victory.” The app also offers mood playlists that group tracks with similar vibes, such as soft, relaxing songs to listen to before bed. Perhaps one of the most unique features of the service is spoiler prevention. If the listener adds a specific game to the setting, the program will hide the soundtracks, which may give a surprise ending or an unexpected final boss, among other potential spoilers. They can also expand a single track and keep replaying it for up to an hour if that’s what they want to listen to.
Fans can access the new Nintendo Music service with a Go to online membershipalthough they can start listening to game tracks even if they are still on the free trial. Each member of the Switch Online Family membership can also access it, so they don’t have to pay for an individual subscription.
