The next time you visit your local Apple Store, you might see Form’s Smart Swim 2 goggles in the accessories section. Starting November 5, Apple will begin stocking the $249 wearable at 20 retail locations in the US and Canada. The glasses will also go on sale on the company’s website at the same day, where availability will extend to the UK. In addition to home delivery, select Apple Store locations will offer in-store pickup.
Dan Eisenhardt, founder and CEO of From, said, “With Apple’s knowledgeable staff, we know the experience of launching our glasses will be exceptional. As the ultimate fitness technology product, we are excited to showcase Form at Apple.”
From the debut Smart swimming 2 in early April. Building on it original smart glassesthe company has incorporated a heart rate sensor and improved comfort and adjustability. It also managed to reduce the size of the “technology package”, the component that houses all of the device’s electronics. The company continues to sell the original Smart Swim goggles for $179, and they remain a great bargain; they include From’s signature SwimStraight feature, which displays a digital compass inside the goggles to aid in open water navigation. But if you want them, you have to order them from the store company website.
