Google Calendar’s web client just got a new one all of which should make the program more adaptable There are updated buttons, dialogs and sidebars to make everything “more modern and accessible”.
The interface typography has received a custom design update that adds “highly readable fonts” to provide a “fresh feel” while remaining “readable and crisp”. Google Calendar now also lets users switch between light mode and dark mode to reduce battery usage and eye strain.
These updates apply to the “entire calendar web experience.” It includes a task list view, which is nice. However, Google warned that the update may affect the experience of installed Chrome extensions that are active when using Calendar. The company recommends “contacting the developers of those extensions to report any potential issues.”
