One of the best things about the M5s is how comfortable they are. I’ve used them on a couple of transatlantic flights this year and the fit, combined with the incredible active noise cancellation, meant I could sleep the whole way through without a hitch. Plus, with the WH-1000XM4’s dual processors and microphones, they have excellent sound quality.
The predecessor of the M5 is also on sale WH-1000XM4 It decreased from $348 to $228. Despite being the previous model, these are still an amazing option and offer something the M5s don’t: folding. This model released in 2020 has collected a 94 in our review thanks to their excellent sound quality, ANC and comfort
