The Life & Death expansion pack will take the Sims world to a new level of existence. It comes with new career paths, neighborhoods, scary items, and achievements about living life to the fullest until you die.
The biggest addition is a new suburb called Ravenwood with three new neighborhoods to explore including Crow’s Crossing, Whispering Glen and Mourningvale. You will be able to communicate with the spirits of the dead until they find a channel to the afterlife, make wishes and explore ancient shrines with mysterious powers and explore the graveyard. Each region also has a “Mystery Merchant” who sells haunted items and helps choose a final resting place during the “Try Before You Die Coffin Sale.”
The new achievements of the Life and Death pack are not only based on the dead side of things. Your Sims aspire to live life to the fullest with the Soul’s Journey achievement track, which offers “Sim Rebirth” and the chance to create custom “Bucket Lists” for Sims young or old. After your Sim dies, he can return as a ghost to complete unfinished business with the help of the living.
The Life and Death pack also features new career paths that deal more with the dark side of the equation. Sims can pursue a profession on the Undertaker career path to become a mortician or funeral director and earn awesome rewards like the Plague Mask or Corpus Plaque. Reaper deals with those who live career paths and those who don’t soon. Your Sim will work as the Dutch Department of Death (NWDD) and train to become a soul reaper, giving them the power to take life or give it back if your life quota is too high.
