Nintendo hates discounting first-party games when they’re five years old, or even five days old. It’s a woot The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom At $52, it certainly breaks with tradition. That’s $8 or 13 percent off. Until the game starts showing up in used boxes, you’re unlikely to find anything lower.
This is a physical copy what we call “both familiar and new”. . It’s familiar because it’s a mind-blowing top-down adventure The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeningamong others. Everything else is fresh.

This is a rare discount for a game that has just been released.
It’s the first game in the franchise to let you control the titular princess (no, I’m not counting them). .) This is not just a skin change. Zelda is a completely different hero with a unique moveset that changes almost every aspect of the game. Where Link is a standard swordsman, Zelda is a mage/summoner.
He can summon hundreds of items (literally), including almost every monster in the game. This means you can go into battle surrounded by an army of bloodthirsty Moblins, although lately I’ve been going with crows. These monsters usually have a secondary use for solving puzzles and traversing, which is an absolute blast.
And there are many Breath of the Wild and Tears of the kingdom in the DNA of this game. It looks like an old-school Zelda game, but somehow plays like a new game. There are traditional dungeons, which is great, but there’s no pressure to complete them. I’ve only done one and spent about 15 hours so far. Instead, I use wild and wacky mechanics to explore every nook and cranny of the massive map in search of (surprisingly) secrets and new challenges.
There is only one downside that most reviews touch on. There are many challenges in this game called echo. Picking and choosing from over a hundred monsters and objects can require some tricky menu navigation. As for this sale, Woot is only allowing one copy per customer, with a delivery date of October 11th.
